Assigning Data to Beneficiaries: Managing Your Digital Inheritance

This guide will take you through the process of assigning data that is stored in your SecureSafe to your chosen beneficiaries.

When setting up the data inheritance feature in your SecureSafe, be sure to allocate files and passwords to your chosen beneficiary or beneficiaries.

There are two ways to assign files and passwords to your selected beneficiary or beneficiaries for the data inheritance feature in your SecureSafe:

  • With Manual Assignment, you can allocate specific files to one beneficiary and a different set of data to another beneficiary. This gives you complete control over each password and file, allowing for personalized data inheritance distribution.

  • By utilizing Automatic Assignment, you have the option to allocate all files and passwords to one or more beneficiaries. Any files and passwords added in the future will be automatically assigned to the chosen beneficiary.

Furthermore, this article will walk you through the steps of disabling automatic assignment if you choose to do so.
