Why do I have to enter my contact details when configuring the data inheritance feature?

SecureSafe requires your contact information to ensure that you are promptly notified in case the inheritance process is accidentally initiated. This way, you can easily log into your account and stop the inheritance process if needed. We recommend adding a secondary email address as a precaution since losing access to an email account is not uncommon.
