Adding Multiple Passwords: How to Import Passwords to SecureSafe

Learn how to import multiple passwords to your SecureSafe through CSV import.

The following steps will guide you through the process of importing multiple passwords at once to your SecureSafe:

1. Log in to your SecureSafe account in the SecureSafe web application.
2. From the menu in the left sidebar, select Passwords.
   
3. From the collapsible Overview sidebar on the right, select Import.
4. Click the Upload button in order to upload a CSV file containing the passwords you wish to import.
5. From your operating system's file explorer window, navigate to and select your password file. Please note: This file must be saved as a .csv file and formatted as follows: Title, Username, Password, Website, Comment.
   
6. Confirm your file selection by clicking Open.
7. In the now displayed Import passwords review window, review your passwords.
   
8. If your CSV file included a header row, you can hide this and exclude it from the import by placing a check in the Ignore first row checkbox.
9. Confirm by clicking Import.
10. Review the import status window which now displays. This gives a count of the passwords that were successfully imported and provides a list of any passwords that could not be imported.
    
11. Click Close to finalize the import process. You have successfully imported your passwords.
