How to create a SecureSafe Account?

Overview

SecureSafe next generation supports flexible onboarding: you can activate the Pass module, the File module, or use both together as an integrated, end-to-end encrypted bundle. This guide explains the sign-up process across all configurations.

Prerequisites

A valid email address
A strong Master Password meeting SecureSafe’s complexity requirements
Internet access and a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)

1. Navigate to the Sign-Up Page

Open your browser and go to https://www.securesafe.com/pricing and select your prefered plan
Start your registration

2. Enter Your Account Details

Email Address: Enter an email that you can readily access for verification.
First Name
Last Name
Master Password:
- Minimum 14 characters
- At least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeral, and one symbol
- Avoid dictionary words or predictable phrases
Confirm Master Password: Re-enter your Master Password exactly.

Tip: Use a passphrase consisting of unrelated words or a combination of characters that only you can memorize.

3. Get Code

Click on Get Code to receive a confirmation code via email and enter on the from.
The confirmation code is valid for 30min.

4. Create Account

Click on the Create Account button to start the sign up process.

5. Download Recovery Code

Your account has been setup, but before completing your purchase make sure to download your recovery codes.
Store a secure copy of your account recovery key in a safe location; you can generate one under Profile Settings → Security → Recover.
