Uploading files: How to upload files to File Manager?

To upload a file to your Safe, first navigate to the correct folder you want to add it.

You can also add a file wherever you want, and then move it to the correct place, using the Move File. 

  • Once in the folder, you have 3 ways to upload a file. You can simply and easily drag your file and drop it into the window:

  • In the folder you can also select the 3-dot menu and then “Upload Files”:

  • And finally, at any given time, on the Upload button on the top right:

  • Both these two last options will open a modal for you to drag and drop your files:

  • If any error occurs during the upload, you will be informed, and you can either retry the process or cancel the upload process:

Good to know:

SecureSafe does not allow the upload of files that have the following characters:

  1. / (forward slash)

  2. \ (backslash)

  3. < (less than)

  4. > (greater than)

  5. : (colon)

  6. " (double quote)

  7. | (vertical bar or pipe)

  8. ? (question mark)

  9. * (asterisk)

  10. Dot at the end of the file name (.)

  • After a succesful Upload, you will see a success message, and also the opportunity to add more files to be uploaded next:

Please Note: 

  • If the extension you are trying to upload is not listed here, you cannot upload it to your SecureSafe.
  • As a workaround, you can compress your file in a Zip folder, and then upload it to SecureSafe.
