Navigating your SecureSafe File Manager
After you have successfully create a new SecureSafe account for the File Manager or the Bundle you will have access to the File module within the SecureSafe app.
This article will give you a brief overview of your new File Manager including:
- Creating Folders
- Read/UNread count
- File overview
Start by logging in to your app.
- Once login navigate to the Files tab:

- Each Safe you have access to – and that has the File Module – will have a file tree listing, where you can navigate within your files and folders. To change the safe you are currently looking at, select the safe on the left, or inside the File Manager:

- Within each Team Safe, you will see the your initial tree listing:

Note:
If you are able to have team safes depends on your chosen plan. Personal Solo plan or Business Professional plans come without team safes. In this case only the personal safe can be seen.
- You can navigate your folders and files by expanding the left panel view (if there any more folders nested under that folder), or by clicking on any folder on the right panel:

- On the bottom, you can see all existing files, by clicking on “All Files”:

- This will provide you with a list of all exisitng files in your safe:

- Across you File manager, you can also order your files, by name, size or date, using the arrows that appear when hovering Size or Date:

- You can also perform bulk actions. To do so, select the files you want by clicking on the left box that shows when you hover these files:

From here, you can perform the following operations on more than 1 file:

Copy items to a specific folder

Move items to a specific folder

Download all items
-
Mark all items as Read/Unread

Move to trash all the items.

Creating Folders
- To create a folder, you can use the Create Folder button in any location:

- A new blue field will show, for you to give it a name, and save the folder in that location. You can also use the 3-dots menu of an existing folder to create another nested folder:

Read/Unread count
The read/unread feature allows you to check the latest files added or changed on your Team Safe.
- Unread Files are shown as red notifications on your folders:

- By clicking on “Unread” in the bottom, you can see a list of all unread files, independent of their location. If you navigate your Tree Listing, you can also find the file(s) marked as unread:

- Hovering in the File, you will see on the right a check to mark this file as Read. You can also mark all files as “Read”:

- All new files uploaded are marked as “Unread” to other Team Safe members and wil lstay like that until the member marks it as read, or opens it.
- Additionally, you can mark an existing file as Unread. To do so, click on the 3 dots of the file, and select “Mark as Unread”:

File Overview
When clicking on a File, you will see the File Overivew option. This quick view informs you of the file size and date of the upload, as well as a preview of the document, if this is possible:

- From here, you can Download, Open the file (if possible), mark as unread/read, or move it to the trash:
