How to use Android autofill service on the SecureSafe Pass app.
Autofill features allows you to quickly input your saved username/email and password on websites and apps that require a login - easily and hassle free. Let’s see how to activate, use it, and deactivate if necesary.
Please note that the following guide was made on a Samsung device, running One UI 7. Other manufactures (such as Xiaomi, Google, Huwaei) might have differences in what is demonstrated here.

Activating Autofill
Before you turn on Autofill
To use Autofill, you will need to have a strong biometric authentication created in your device – either a fingerprint, or a face recognition. If you don’t, you will be prompted to create one first. Without this, Autofill cannot work due to security reasons.
- On Settings, click on App Settings:

Enable Autofill, by clicking on the toggle:

Click on Continue:

You will be redirected to your Operating System Settings, where you will need to select SecureSafe Autofill Service from the list of Services. After that, a dialog will show up, making sure you trust the SecureSafe Pass App. Click on OK:

You will be redirected back to the SecureSafe Pass app, where you will have the confirmation that all is setup correctly. Click on Continue, and autofill will be enabled:
Using Autofill
On any website, or mobile app that requires a login, you can use Autofill to fill the username and password registred in a matching password entry, on your SecureSafe Pass app. Let’s see it in action.

Open any website or app, and click either on the email or password field. On your keyboard, you will see Autofill with SecureSafe Pass. Click on it:

You will be asked – by the Operating System – to authenticate yourelf, either by a face recognition or fingerprint scan.

After that successful authentication, click again on any email or password field:
- You will now see a bar with your Autofill options:

The matching password stored in one of our safes, related to the website you’re trying to enter

A search functionality, in case there are no matches, or you want to manually search a password.

Clicking on the matching password option, your data will be autofiled in the correct fields and that’s it, you’re logged in:
Autofill Feature uses the URL of a website as a search input to find the best result in your list of passwords.

If there are no automatic results, or you want to manually search for a password, click on Search:

This will open a list of passwords, with the search input of the website or app:

You can change the search, by typing anything you want, to find your password. When clicking on a password, the username and password are autofilled in the website:

In addition to that, you can manually copy your password and username, if something is not working as supposed, due to a website incorrect fields. To do so, click on the 3 dots menu:
Turning off Autofill

Go over to Settings, click on App Settings, and then disable the Autofill toggle by clicking on it:
