How can I delete passwords?

To delete passwords, simply right-click on the password you wish to remove and choose Delete password from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can click on a password entry and select the bin icon from the sidebar on the right side of the screen. How can I edit passwords?

To edit passwords, simply right-click on the password you want to modify and choose the option Edit password from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can click on a password entry and select the edit icon from the sidebar on the right side of the screen. Additionally, you have the option to edit passwords using the Autosafe feature when updating an existing login on the relevant website.

How can I add passwords?

There are several ways to add a password to your SecureSafe. You can add a single password by following the steps outlined in our guide on adding a password, or import multiple passwords following the steps described in our article on adding multiple passwords (CSV import). Another option is to use the Autosafe feature when signing up on a specific website to automatically add the password to your SecureSafe.

How are passwords entered directly into the login field?

After loading a login page of a third-party website, if you are not already logged in to SecureSafe, you will be prompted to do so. Your saved password entries will then appear directly in the appropriate login field. Simply select the desired entry, and it will automatically fill the login field for you.

When you're logged in to your SecureSafe Account using the browser extension, simply select the desired entry from the displayed list when loading a login page.

Can two-factor authentication (2FA) be used for the browser extension?

Yes, you can enable two-factor authentication in both the web and mobile app, which will automatically apply to the browser extension. If you trust your browser, you have the option to set up two-factor authentication to only be required when logging in to that specific browser for the first time. This process involves storing a secret key locally in the browser, which is updated before each new login. These settings can be adjusted as needed in the configuration options.

How do I log in to my SecureSafe password manager via the browser?

Access the SecureSafe browser extension by clicking on the SecureSafe icon located in the top right corner of your browser's toolbar. From there, enter your SecureSafe username and password to log in. If you don't have a SecureSafe account yet, you can easily sign up for free through our website or mobile app.
